Well organized, safe, longer than most and wickedly fun. Had a blast. You will get wet though, and i mean drenched to the skin in salt water, not cold but very uncomfortable when you get off. Have a dry change of cloths with you or better yet just wear swimming attire. There is no shower nearby but there is a public washroom where you can change..
I bought a ride for my husbands birthday and he went with 2 of our kids 10 and 13 years old...They came off the boat raving about the time they had had and how great Luke the driver was...Our other 10 year old who was too scared to go is now wanting us to book for him and his friends for his birthday...I think we will be doing just that..great prices..great driver..great birthday experience
Professional run. Great outing with family but you get wet but that is all part of the experience. Thanks for the memories.
Two seasons: There are two distinct seasons to visit the Gold Coast. The first is between December and February. This is the Australian summer and is tops for sun, sand, and surfing. The second is March-May, the autumn months. The theme parks and beaches are enjoyable during these times.
Best things to do: Gold Coast offers a lot more than first meets the eye for an area known for its surfing beaches. There are theme parks for thrills, Dreamworld is the place, and Warner Bros Movie World is a family-orientated choice. For wildlife fun and scenic views, there’s Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary or Springbrook National Park. And the SkyPoint Observation deck is fabulous for views of the never-ending golden beaches. Surf and explore that’s what the Gold Coast is good for.
Wildlife watching: One way to get the best out of visiting the Gold Coast is to take a boat tour to spot nature. How about some whale watching? It'll be a special moment watching those majestic creatures in their natural habitat. A Gold Coast experience that’ll live long in your memory.
• It’s not called the Gold Coast for no reason; you’ll find the region has around 300 days of sunshine a year, and there is 57km of beaches to check out. And for those who like to dip in the sea, the average water temperature is 22 degrees. Sounds perfect to us.
• With all that coastline, you’ll be glad to know that the Gold Coast is home to the most extensive professional lifeguard service in Australia. Take a dip and feel safe.
