Yes, it was a good tour. We had some miscommunication in the beginning of the tour in the bus on a way to Bratislava. When we meet our tour guide everything went great. Thanks….we expected to have a tour giude in the bus, but it was none and in the begining we did not unserstand what is going on until we get to Bratislava... SUGGESTIONS- Provide a tour guide right away in the bus...Good prices, well organize, can be reach when need it, can be refunded when cancel...yes, I would recomend isango to my friends)
The tour was really nice and almost flawless. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun and tried to ask to everyone's questions. Krems old town is impressive, the town was founded at 995 and lot of authentic old buildings are in place. On the Danube valley the nature is largelly untouched and provides memorable sights. We made lots of photos. Durnstein, where Richard Lionheart was imprisoned, is also a nice city. Finally, the Melk Abbey, one of the oldest libraries from Europe, is unforgettable and the guide in the abbey was really good.
We had a great day. Coaches very comfortable. Great scenery. The boat was very smooth and also saw some great scenery and the food and drink on board was very good value. We then transferred back to the coach to carry on to the monastery. Everything was well organised and timed. This trip is a must.
Romancing Austrian style: A dinner cruise down the Danube is the perfect way to woo a partner. Munch on some fine Austrian cuisine, enjoy some traditional music and take in the culture. It’ll be the perfect night out.
Getting Around: You’ll find getting around Vienna is an easy option. You can walk the old town and the Vienna metro is very easy to use, and if you like to take to two wheels Vienna has a very easy system to hire city bikes. There’s even a circular bike route that takes you near the Danube River. Spy out the river before your tour.
Best Things to do: You’ll find that Vienna offers plenty to keep out occupied. The Schonbrunn Palace is a must-visit, as is Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. Hofburg Imperial Palace is another grand building, and you really must visit a Vienna café and then perhaps take in some opera!?
• The oldest zoo in the world is found in Vienna. It dates back to 1782 and is home to around 700 species, including endangered species.
• Not to be outdone is the Wiener Riesenrad, the Ferris wheel. It’s also the oldest in the world and dates back to 1897. Worth a spin, and it’s a fun activity to add to your Vienna experience.
• On your tour around the city, you may want to stop for a drink. There are over 1000 drinking fountains scattered across Vienna. Alpine water to quench the thirst. It gets hot in the summer, so these fountains are a blessing.
